Match Preview Haverfordwest v Cofis

The Cofis make the trip down south today to play Haverfordwest County in their latest Cymru Premier League fixture. The last time Richard Davies took his team to the Bridge Meadow Stadium the hosts had been too strong on the day to secure a 3-1 victory in the European Play-Off final. It is still early days this season to make any predictions as to how the sides will fare this time around but the signs are positive that they may again have decent campaigns. It has been an excellent start to the season from Caernarfon, and they currently top of the fledgling league table, courtesy of three victories and a draw i their opening four matches. Top scorer for the Cofis is Adam Davies, who has been in fine form, scoring five goals thus far, which includes four in the league. The Bluebirds have had a steady start to their league season, with a defeat, draw and victory from their first three fixtures but Caernarfon will know that Tony Pennock's side will be a touch challenge this afternoon. Haverfordwest have a good recent record in the sides' head to head and have been undefeated in their last eight matches against Town, a run that stretches back to February 2023, when Laurie Bell and Darren Thomas scored in a 2-0 victory.
