Richard takes over at the helm

Following tonight’s news that the club has announced Richard Davies as the new first team manager, chairman Paul Evans has explained the board’s decision:

“Our decision to give the job to Richard until the end of the season makes a lot of sense to us. He knows the club and players well and, having been with us since 2016 and being an assistant to three managers during this time, we feel he has earned his opportunity in the hot seat. In his time with us he has shown a real passion for the club and has become a first-class coach,  gaining his ‘A’ Licence. We believe this is the correct decision for the club and we wish Richard the very best of luck in his new role.”
