Exciting development as Caernarfon Town FC welcomes girls juniors club into the fold!
We are excited to announce that the town's junior girls club has joined our football club! The club has been successfully run for many years and has 120 players competing through the different age groups.
Our chairman, Paul Evans, is overjoyed at the news:
“I can safely say that this is one of the proudest moments I have had as chairman of the club. The town’s junior girls set up has never officially been part of Caernarfon Town Football Club and as a Board we have wanted to change this situation for a long time. I have worked closely over the past three years with their chairman, Dei Pritchard, in reintroducing a seniors ladies team with the aim and hope that one day the juniors would join us. We felt that now was the perfect time for this to happen and I want to thank their Board and coaches for agreeing to this exciting development.
To have one hundred and twenty players across seven teams from the ages of Under 10 to Under 16 joining and playing for our club is a wonderful development for us and for girls football in the town and area.
What we can promise all the girls who want to play football in the area is that we will support and encourage each and everyone of them and it is our aim to provide a pathway from juniors to seniors football with Caernarfon Town Football Club.
We are fully committed to girls and ladies football and look forward to seeing what we can achieve together. We are delighted to be truly Un Clwb. “
