We are delighted to announce that Richard Davies has signed a long term contract to continue as first team manager at the club. Richard was given the job on an interim basis as we approached the end of the 2022/23 season and helped us fight off relegation after what had been a turbulent season for us. He was then given the job on a permanent basis and in his first season as manager he guided the club to European competition for the first time in our history. Our chairman, Paul Evans, discusses the club's decision:
"It's clear to see that Richard and his management staff have done an excellent job in their first full season and we are pleased to reward him with a long-term contract. He knows how we run the club and what we expect from the management team and it’s fair to say that he is the perfect as our manager.
The club is now entering a long-term project that we hope will see us grow on and off the field and Richard is a huge part of this. We’re excited to be working with him on this exciting adventure.
