Welcome to the Oval Mark

We are pleased to announce that Mark Orme as joined our management team. Mark played for a host of clubs in the Welsh system, including Llangefni, Denbigh Town, Holywell Town and Llandudno.
He began his coaching career as manager of Llandudno Junction in 2014/15 before moving on become part of Alan Morgan’s coaching staff at Llandudno. He then had a brief stint as manager of Porthmadog before becoming assistant manager at Colwyn Bay in 2019/20.

For personal reasons, Mark has mostly worked in the Academy system since his stint at Llanelian Road and was assistant manager of the Regions Cup side that represented Wales in the UEFA tournament in Northern Ireland last October.

Mark is excited at joining us at the Oval:

“I wasn’t expecting the call from Richard, however it took me no time at al to accept, as Caernarfon Town is a huge football club and what it means to the people who work for them and follow them week in week out is obvious to see. I am extremely excited and grateful to have been given the opportunity to work here.
I went through my coaching licences with Rich and we have always kept in touch. I know how passionate he is about the club and the work ethic he has, so it’s my job now to help him move things forward.
I have worked with several of the senior players before and am fully aware of the exciting crop of young players within the Under 19’s coming through, having worked in the Academy system,
I am looking forward to getting started this week and getting stuck in these last few games to ensure the club is where it wants to be next season.”

First team manager Richard Davies is looking forward to seeing what his first acquisition to the club will bring to the management staff:
