Welcome to the Oval Sam Downey!
We are delighted to announce that Sam Downey has joined us. Sam, who has been at Colwyn Bay for the past four years, is a thirty year old midfielder who made eighty appearance for the Seagulls and was a member of their Cymru North title winning side in 2023. He becomes our third signing of the summer following the arrival of Ryan Sears and Matty Jones. Sam featured in our pre-season friendly against Connahs Quay Nomads on saturday and can't wait to play in front of the Cofi Army: " I can't wait to get started, the team had an unbelievable season last year and it's a really exciting time for everyone involved at the club. Looking forward to working with the management team and players as well as playing in front of the Cofi Army!'
